On Tuesday, Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble returned to Somalia from an official two-day visit to Kuwait.
Prime Minister Roble’s plane touched down at the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu on October 7.
While in Kuwait, Roble attended the state funeral of the late Emir of Kuwait.
Emir Sheikh Sabah Ahmed Al-Sabah died in the United States on September 29, 2020 while receiving medical attention.
During his visit, Roble also held a meeting with the new Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The two leaders exchanged plenty of ideas on issues affecting their respective countries. They also reiterated the need for close cooperation between their nations.
