Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has sent the country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs packing.
The Prime Minister sacked Mohamed Abdirizak on November 20.
Abdirizak was only appointed into the docket last year when the Prime Minister made a cabinet reshuffle.
He took over from Ambassador Ahmed Isse Awad, outgoing President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo’s key ally.
It’s not yet clear why Prime Minister Roble sacked the foreign affairs minister.
Abdirizak had been Somalia’s 24th Minister of Foreign Affairs.
