Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has warned those planning to destabilize Somalia that the government would not tolerate their actions.
On February 10, the Prime Minister made this declaration while addressing the House of Representatives on the achievements of the government for the last 100 days.
Roble issued this warning a few days after President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo’s term in office expired.
The ongoing elections standoff has raised political temperatures in the country too.
Opposition presidential candidates have categorically stated that they no longer recognize Farmaajo as the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
There have been fears that Somalia could fall into a period of uncertainty and chaos as the elections standoff get worse.
