Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has appealed for credible elections from the teams charged with organizing elections in Somalia.
The Prime Minister issued this appeal on November 29.
He sent out his appeal to the Federal Elections Implementation Team (FEIT) and the State Elections Implementation Team (SEIT).
As per Prime Minister Roble’s appeal, Somalia needs to hold credible elections.
Currently, the country is holding elections for the House of the People (Lower House) elections.
Delegates are responsible for electing new lawmakers.
The lawmakers will then join their colleagues at the federal parliament in Mogadishu.
Prime Minister Roble was speaking during a virtual meeting with federal and state electoral officials on Monday.
He met them via Zoom.
