Kenyan President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed Kenya’s involvement in peace initiatives in Somalia, Sudan, and South Sudan.
Macron expressed France’s support for these interventions and Kenya’s active role in promoting regional stability.
They also addressed the ongoing crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), as preparations continue for an emergency East African Community Heads of State meeting on Wednesday.
