Salah Says Somalia’s Newly Liberated Places Are More Stable

Deputy Prime Minister Salah Jama has commended Somali forces and their international partners for working closely to liberate more areas from Al-Shabaab control.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that all the newly liberated places are now more stable.

He cited the improved delivery of essential services in the country as a direct result of the liberation efforts by the military and partners.

Jama mentioned that peacebuilding efforts and self-rule are more evident now that Al-Shabaab are no longer in charge of the liberated areas.
