Sanaag legislators have called upon the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) to help victims of a recent inferno in the area.
The lawmakers, who represent the region at the House of the People (Lower House), issued this call on Sunday.
They presented their request to Mahamuud Moallim, the SODMA Commissioner.
The Members of Parliament (MPs) met with Commissioner Moallim at the agency’s offices.
Their request was for 1,500 families affected by the inferno that recently reduced Milho village to ruins.
