Somali officials who were injured in a recent terrorist attack in Mudug have been airlifted abroad for further medical attention.
The Somali government airlifted the officials on Saturday.
A plane carrying the officers departed from the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu last evening.
They include Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor, the President of the regional state of Galmudug.
Qooqoor suffered a few minor injuries when debris from the house where the explosion took place fell on him.
A few other state officers accompanied President Qoorqoor as he travels abroad for treatment.
