Saudi Arabia Could Soon Allow More Hajj Pilgrims from Somalia

Saudi Arabia is considering whether to allow more Hajj pilgrims from Somalia.

This follows talks on Wednesday between Mukhtar Roobow Ali and Towfiq Binu Fowsman from Somalia and Saudi Arabia respectively.

Roobow, Somalia’s Minister of Endowment and Religious Affairs, discussed wide-ranging issues with Fowsman.

Apart from increased Hajj pilgrims from Somalia, other issues discussed included enhanced cooperation between their respective nations.

The quality of services that Somali pilgrims receive while in Saudi Arabia featured prominently in their talks too.

Fowsman met with Roobow in his capacity as Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah.
