A Saudi foundation has launched a new drought relief project that targets 42,360 families in Somalia.
King Salman Foundation (KSF) announced the new project on March 5.
Communication from KSF shows that the organization would target vulnerable households from different parts of the East African nation.
Somali Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi M. Gulaid launched the project on Saturday.
KSF funds the project fully.
Deputy Prime Minister Gulaid expressed gratitude to KSF and the Saudi government for the amazing gesture.
He also commended Saudi Arabia for supporting underprivileged families in Somalia.
