The Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) has issued a statement on the plane crash that took place in Mogadishu on Monday, July 18.
In the statement, SCAA clarified that the plane belonged to Jubba Airways.
The registration number of the Kenyan-registered plane is 5YJXN.
It crashed at Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu at exactly 11.28 am just at the start of the 05 runway.
SCAA’s statement, which was signed by Ahmed Moalin Hassan, indicates that 36 people, including crew members and passengers, were on board the plane when it crashed.
All of them survived the crash.
SCAA promised to issue a preliminary report once it concludes investigations into the incident.
