Security agencies seized a vehicle that was transporting military supplies to Al-Shabaab militants in Galgadud.
Reports from the region indicate that the vehicle was transporting military supplies, food, and fuel.
The agencies were on a planned military operation in Dawacoley village, which stands right between the twin towns of Gadon and Hindhere.
During the Friday operation, security officers chanced upon the vehicle. They stopped it only to realize that it was full of Al-Shabaab terrorists transporting various supplies.
Al-Shabaab members then attempted to attack the officers once they learned of the vehicle’s seizure.
However, they were repelled. Three militants then lost their lives in the ensuing melee.
