Security forces have rescued women and children from Hayat Hotel in Mogadishu.
Al-Shabaab terrorists carried out a daring attack at the hotel on the evening of Friday, August 19.
It is believed that several people lost their lives in the incident.
The casualties might have been much higher had security officers not succeeded in rescuing the women and children.
Security forces rushed to the hotel immediately after the attack commenced.
Currently, they are taking precautions to avoid civilian casualties.
