Senior Al-Shabaab commanders targeted in Jilib and Bu’ale

According to local sources, two dozen Al-Shabaab fighters, including senior Al-Shabaab commanders, were killed yesterday in two military operations in Middle Shabelle in Jubaland.
The operations took place in the districts of Jilib and Buale.
The Somalia National Army (SNA) together with ‘the international partners’, targeted the accommodation of high ranking Al-Shabab trainers where possibly trainees were gathered.
International partners often refers to AFRICOM and the US drone programme in Somalia.
