A senior Al-Shabaab leader is under police custody.
Omar Mohamed Ismail Nor was arrested at the Shaati Airport in Baidoa.
At the time of the arrest, Nor was on the verge of boarding a plane to Mogadishu.
In a recent interview, Nor confirmed that he had previously been a religious leader.
However, brainwashing by a close relative who was a member of Al-Shabaab convinced him to join the group.
