Serbia has pledged to help improve the drainage system in Somalia.
This emerged on Sunday following a meeting between Mohamed Abdullahi and Aleksandar Sapic.
Abdullahi is Somali Ambassador to Serbia.
Sapic is the Mayor of Belgrade, the capital city of Serbia.
Somalia’s drainage system has not undergone any form of improvement for the past 30 years
Consequently, it has been in a terrible state.
However, that is now set to change as the Serbian government steps in to help the East African nation.
Amb. Abdullahi and Mayor Sapic signed an agreement on several other projects Serbia would carry out in Somalia.
