Seven People Die in Afgoye Explosions

At least seven people lost their lives when a roadside bomb exploded in Afgoye.

The Afgoye explosion was the second one to rock Somalia on Wednesday, July 27.

Another one had been reported in Marka. The Marka explosion killed several people including a regional district commissioner.

In Afgoye, the roadside bomb exploded at a busy livestock market in the town.

Apart from the seven killed in the explosion, eyewitnesses and medical authorities confirmed that 14 more people suffered injuries in the incident.

Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the Afgoye attack, just as it had done in the one that rocked Marka.
