Somalia Humanitarian Fund (SHF) has teamed up with Somalia Young Doctors Association (SOYDA) to offer support services to survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) in the country.
The two organizations have designed various projects to help GBV survivors around the country.
Thus far, they have agreed to launch the operations in Marka District, Lower Shabelle.
Through the project, GBV survivors will receive clinical care, case management, and psychological support.
Survivors are also entitled to benefit from material emergency support tailored specifically for them.
Thus far, 492 GBV survivors have benefited from the SOYDA services in various parts.
These include survivors in Awyaale, Buufow, Isman Quule, Hawl-Wadag, and Nuurta Taliyow to mention a few.
