Shock cascaded Mogadishu on Thursday when one of its local footballers drowned to his death.
Ibrahim Mas’ud Ali, who plays for Gaadiidka Football Club, a local football team, passed away today in the morning from drowning.
Ali was training with other teammates at Lido Beach when he drowned.
His club confirmed the devastating news. Ali’s teammates were also left devastated by the sudden and unexpected death of the player.
