The Secours Islamique France (SIF) has announced plans to work closely with the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA).
A delegation from SIF visited Mahamuud Moallim, the SODMA Commissioner, in Mogadishu on Tuesday.
The SIF delegation was under the leadership of Gorkhamas Huseynov.
Both leaders led their respective teams in discussing ways of establishing cooperation between SIF and SODMA.
They spoke about the support that SIF can extend towards SODMA’s ongoing humanitarian efforts in areas liberated from Al-Shabaab.
