Six international firms have submitted their bids and reports indicating their interest in building the road that links the towns of Fardaha and Borame.
The firms submitted their reports to the Roads Development agency (RDA), the body in charge of all road constructions in the country.
Initially, RDA said that it expects the firms to undertake a feasibility study first on the road that links Lowyo-Cado in Fardaha with Borame town.
RDA published the names of the firms and their countries of origin too. They include two firms from Ethiopia, two from Tunisia, and one each from Kenya and Germany.
The firms are Saba Engineer (Ethiopia), Besan (Ethiopia), Studi (Tunisia), Seat (Tunisia), Gulf Engineer (Germany), and Gibb (Kenya).
RDA has said that it would publish the name and details of the company that is successful with the bidding later.
