Six Kenyan hawkers were killed in a Somalia border town.
The six hawkers were killed by Al-Shabaab terrorists on Friday in Dhobley, according to Ali Manduku, the Liboi Deputy County Commissioner.
According to Manduku, the six are all from Meru county.
He confirmed that they had been hawking plastic utensils when the Al-Shabaab militants accosted and killed them.
“It is unclear why they were shot despite having worked in the region as hawkers for a long time,” said Manduku.
