Six New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Puntland

Puntland’s Ministry of Health has confirmed six new COVID-19 cases thus bringing the number of patients diagnosed with the disease to 165.

Furthermore, the health ministry also announced that the number of deaths related to the virulent disease is five.

In Somalia, positive COVID-19 cases have now reached 1,573. According to the Ministry of Health, 188 people in Somalia have recovered from the virus while 61 have died.

Consequently, the administration of Puntland has instituted several measures designed to curb the further spread of the disease in the region.
