Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre had a productive meeting with Tanja Fajon, the Deputy Prime Minister of Slovenia, at his offices in Mogadishu on Sunday.
During their meeting, they discussed wide-ranging issues pertaining to their respective nations.
This included finding ways to strengthen ties between Somalia, Slovenia, and the European Union.
Furthermore, the discussions touched on enhancing cooperation in tackling climate change, promoting peace and security, and advancing women’s safety and empowerment.
Both leaders emphasized the importance of shared efforts to address these critical global challenges, aiming to reinforce stability and resilience in Somalia and the broader region.
