Somali National Army (SNA) troops are on the verge of reaching Al-Shabaab’s last stronghold in Galmudug.
On Monday, military sources clarified that the army was at the doorstep of Elbur.
Elbur is the last stronghold under the control of Al-Shabaab.
Government plans to not only capture Elbur but also ensure that it liberated those living in the area.
Al-Shabaab has continuously harassed and terrorised the residents of Elbur for decades.
