SNA Brigade Trained at Their Headquarters by British Army Personnel

British Army personnel trained their Somali National Army (SNA) counterparts at the latter’s headquarters in Mogadishu.

The British Army trained top SNA command and staff in the country’s capital.

Thereafter, the trainees who were mostly from Baidoa in the Southwest state returned to their base to implement what they learned.

The training covered several topics, which include planning and carrying out stabilization operations.

The first batch of officers trained numbered 19.

They were trained together with national and international security partners, who included officers from the Somali Police Force (SPF) and African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).
