The Somali National Army (SNA) chief attended a meeting on extremism in Riyadh.
SNA chief Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Sheikh Muhuddin was in Riyadh on Friday for the Islamic Coalition to Combat Terrorism (ICCT).
He joined his fellow military colleagues from the ICCT member nations.
Participants agreed on the need for the formulation of a long-term plan against terrorism.
