Somali National Army (SNA) commander held talks with his Burundian counterpart in Mogadishu on June 6.
Brigadier General Odowaa Yusuf Rageh held the talks with Burundi’s General Prime Niyongo at the Ministry of Defense headquarters.
During their meeting on Monday, the two senior military men discussed the need to strengthen military cooperation between their respective nations.
Burundi is one of the countries contributing soldiers to the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS).
