Brigadier General Odowaa Yusuf Rageh has visited army bases in the regional state of Southwest.
Brig. Gen. Rageh, the Commander of the Somali National Army (SNA), visited the army bases on Wednesday, June 1.
He visited the bases on the same day that President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud also arrived in Baidoa, the capital of Southwest, on a peace and reconciliation mission.
The SNA Chief commended government soldiers for the incredible work they are doing in the region to countermand the presence of Al-Shabaab militants.
Brig. Gen. Rageh focused on the army bases in Goofgaduud village, which is in the Bay region’s district of Baidoa.
