Somali National Army (SNA) chief Ibrahim Sheikh Muhyadin visited Awdhegle earlier today.
Muhyadin, the Chief of the Armed Forces, was in the area to commend the military for the job they did of repulsing Al-Shabaab fighters.
SNA troops neutralised the terrorists who planned an attack in Awdhegle yesterday.
He praised army commanders who led their troops in defending Awdhegle heroically.
Muhyadin reminded terrorists that the military would ramp up the operations against them around the country.
