The Chief of Somalia’s Defense Forces visited Harardhere town in the regional state of Galmudug.
Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Sheikh Muhiyidin visited the town on Friday to spend time with the troops and learn more about their welfare.
He would also use the opportunity to evaluate their preparedness for combat.
The visit marked the first time that Maj. Gen. Muhiyidin was in the area since the Somali National Army (SNA) liberated it from Al-Shabaab control in January 2023.
