Somali military killed several Al-Shabaab terrorists in operations undertaken in Mudug and Lower Shabelle.
The latest operations were by Somali National Army (SNA) and the country’s international allies.
The coordinated attacks on Monday led to the killing of Omarani Malaq and Sabir.
Malaq and Sabir have been accused of extorting farmers in the region.
The two were killed in Nuun-Gare, Lower Shabelle.
The remaining 7 were killed in an operation carried out in the outskirts of Caad town.
