Somali National Army (SNA) foiled an attack by Al-Shabaab terrorists in Galmudug state on Friday.
Reports show that terrorists attempted to attack an army base in Qayib, a village in the regional state of Galmudug.
The attack took place early on Friday morning.
However, SNA soldiers repelled the terrorists.
Consequently, a number of Al-Shabaab militants lost their lives in the deadly attack after SNA forces destroyed a Vehicle Based Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) that they were using.
