The commander of the land forces of the Somali National Army (SNA) visited Middle Shabelle on Monday.
Commander Dayah Abdi was in the region to visit the local Forward Operating Bases (FOBs).
He inspected the preparedness of the troops at the FOBs to engage in combat against Al-Shabaab militants and other threats in the region.
Abdi evaluated the troops’ current circumstances too.
