The Somali National Army (SNA) recaptured a strategic village in Galgadud from Al-Shabaab terrorists.
SNA carried out an operation in Owsweyne village jointly with local forces.
Reports from the region indicate that the Tuesday operation was a huge success.
Al-Shabaab militants have repeatedly used the village as one of their strongholds in the region..
Currently, the military keeps advancing towards Bargan, Ja’ar, and Galhereri where Al-Shabaab has a strong presence.
