The Somali National Army (SNA) successfully cleared roadblocks set by Al-Shabaab militants in the regional state of Southwest.
Military personnel removed the roadblocks that Al-Shabaab militants had been using for extortion purposes in the rural area near Hudur town in Southwest State.
During the operation, the SNA freed several vehicles that had been held by the militants.
This action is part of the ongoing efforts by the SNA to disrupt Al-Shabaab’s activities and improve security in the region, according to military officials.
