Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers successfully defused an improvised explosive device (IED) in Baidoa.
SNA’s 60th Division is the unit that defused the IED.
According to military sources, Al-Shabaab militants had planted the IED by the side of a road in Deynunay village in Baidoa.
Thereafter, clashes followed between some militants and the military.
Reports indicate that the government soldiers were able to kill two terrorists in the Thursday, June 9 clashes.
