Somali National Army (SNA) killed 30 Al-Shabaab terrorists in an operation undertaken in Lower Jubba.
SNA worked closely with local and international security partners to defeat the terrorists.
The operation, which targeted terrorists in Jamaame, mostly was among the river.
Al-Shabaab has several fighters bases in different spots along the river.
Ten militants were also nabbed during the operation. They are accused of causing public disruptions in Bar Sanguuni.
