Somali National Army (SNA) troops killed two Al-Shabaab terrorists in Bakool.
SNA forces were in Bakool carrying out a security operation. They encountered the terrorists and a fierce gun battle ensued.
Two terrorists lost their lives in the exchange.
The identities of the two Al-Shabaab operatives have been released. They are Ahmed Morogabey and Ali Garweyne.
They died in an operation that took place on Monday, November 21.
According to sources, the operation was in the vicinity of Dhurshen Shabelle, which is within El-Barde district.
The government troops then destroyed an outpost the terrorists use for extorting locals.
