Somali National Army (SNA) troops in Baidoa spent the better part of December 13 providing water-trucking services to local residents affected by the drought.
The soldiers targeted vulnerable families with the water-trucking services.
Hundreds of local families are at great risk of starvation as the drought continues to bite in this part of the country.
Delayed rains have worsened an already bad situation.
Soldiers who took part in Monday’s event were from SNA’s 60th Division. They provided these services to Baidoa’s rural areas.
