Somali National Army (SNA) troops repulsed an Al-Shabaab attack in Southwest state on February 28.
Reports from the region indicate that the Al-Shabaab militia planned the attack for Tuesday night.
Military sources confirmed the incident to state media.
In their report, the sources claimed that SNA troops were in the area for a security operation.
While there, they received news of an attack by the militants on an army base.
The soldiers repulsed the attack at Hudur’s army base and killed five terrorists while injuring many more.
