Today, the Somali National Bureau of Statistics (SNBS) convened the 16th Planning, Technical Coordination (PTC), and Statistics Sector Working Group meeting, chaired by Deputy Director General Mr. Abdirahman Omar Dahir.
Key discussion points included distribution of ICT equipment to relevant ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs), progress updates on administrative data collection activities, capacity-building initiatives for SNBS staff and sector representatives, introduction of a new web-based statistical data management system, and review of the Somali Integrated Business Survey Questionnaire.
The meeting aimed to enhance coordination and data-driven decision-making across government institutions.
