The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) will work closely with the United Nations to ensure the timely delivery of humanitarian aid around the nation.
SODMA Commissioner Mahamuud Moallim revealed this following his meeting with George Conway on Friday.
Conway, the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General (DSRSG) of the UN, assured Moallim of the UN’s support.
Conway, who also doubles as the Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Somalia, commended Moallim for the excellent work SODMA is doing in the country.
