Officials from the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) were in Mudug and Galkayo to assess humanitarian needs.
The SODMA personnel visited the two regions on Thursday.
They also took the opportunity to oversee the distribution of humanitarian aid in both places.
Local leaders welcomed the SODMA officers to the regions.
