The Somalia Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) has called for speedy emergency operations in the country.
SODMA issued the call on Thursday with various stakeholders.
Mohamed Abdi Ware, the Special Presidential Envoy for Civilian Protection and Stabilization, attended the meeting.
Others included representatives of the World Food Programme (WFP), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
Finance ministers from the Federal Member States (FMS) were equally present.
The high level meeting, which took place in Mogadishu, attracted officials from Qatar Charity, World Vision, and the NGO Consortium.
They all agreed on the need to hasten humanitarian and emergency response measures throughout the country.
