The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) Commissioner met with Somalis in the United Kingdom to brief them on several issues back home.
Commissioner Mahamuud Moallim met with the Somalis in the UK on Tuesday.
During the meeting, which took place in London, Commissioner Moallim updated them on the current humanitarian crisis that the country faces.
He spoke about aid initiatives too.
Moallim called upon the Somalis to increase the levels of generosity by remitting more money to their relatives and friends back in Somalia.
The Commissioner encouraged them to ask their relatives back home to be on the lookout for the impending rainy season, which is expected to lead to massive flooding around the country.
