The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) commissioner visited a flow-through dam in Jowhar.
Commissioner Mahamuud Moallim was at the Sabun flow-through dam with other HirShabelle officials.
He assured them that SODMA will develop strategies for repairing the dam fully.
The repairs would minimize flooding and reduce the dangers associated with the same along the river.
