A large delegation consisting of Southwest State officials, United Nations aid agencies, and other partners, visited camps for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Hudur district.
The delegation that visited the IDP camps was under the leadership of the Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) Mahamuud Moallim.
The purpose of the visit was to observe the situation on the ground firsthand and to provide assistance to the IDPs residing in the camps.
This visit underscores the commitment of both local and international entities to support and improve the conditions of those affected by displacement in Somalia.
