Officials from the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) have started delivering sandbags in flood-prone areas.
The SODMA representatives delivered the sandbags as a flood prevention measure.
Specifically, they are distributing the sandbags in areas along river lines.
Meanwhile, SODMA officers also urged the residents in flood-prone areas not to wait for the water to reach their homes. Instead, they should make emergency plans s soon as possible.
