The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) has delivered critical aid to the SSC-Khatumo region, thanks to contributions from China.
The shipment, which includes essential supplies, will be received at Bosaso Seaport before continuing to Laascaanood.
SoDMA Commissioner Mahamuud Moallim highlighted the agency’s commitment to mitigating the impacts of La Niña and increasing the reach of humanitarian assistance throughout Somalia.
This initiative aligns with ongoing efforts to address the country’s challenges with climate-induced crises and support vulnerable communities.
